Personality type of Kentucky Catholic Eye

Per Typealyzer the personality of Kentucky Catholic Eye according to the Myers Briggs standards is ESTP - The Doers.

The active and play-ful type. They are especially attuned to people and things around them and often full of energy, talking, joking and engaging in physical out-door activities.

The Doers are happiest with action-filled work which craves their full attention and focus. They might be very impulsive and more keen on starting something new than following it through. They might have a problem with sitting still or remaining inactive for any period of time.

Hmm sounds like me, how'd they do that?

Woman rabbi takes the heat for "Catholic ordinations"

Two Catholic women are being ordained by Roman Catholic Womenpriests here Nov. 11, prompting outrage from Catholic officials -- outrage that, surprisingly, is directed less at the women aspiring to the Catholic priesthood, or at the movement ordaining them, than toward a rabbi who agreed to host the event. The women to be ordained are Elsie Hainz McGrath, a retired writer and editor for a Catholic publishing house, and Rose Marie Dunn Hudson, a former teacher. (read more)

This is scary. Look at the professions of these women. I "Googled" Elsie Hainz McGrath and came up with several books and pamphlets she authored and co-authored. Here's the list at Amazon.com . The article above reads, Mrs. McGrath is a retired writer but it appears she is still putting her pen to paper. Read her article 'Receive the Gospel...'. What a humble, caring priest she will be.

Our new shepherd.

Whispers In the Loggia says the new archbishop will be named on Tuesday in a news conference in Louisville. Bishop Kurtz's name has been floating around since last year when Archbishop Kelly had to submit his resignation because he had reached the age limit of 75. Bishop Kurtz was ordained in 1972 for the Diocese of Allentown. He was installed as the bishop of Knoxville in December 1999.

He is 60 years old. His birthday is August 18th. Maybe Bishop Kurtz will celebrate his birthday as our new archbishop.

Check out the good news from Rocco.
